About Tillful

Tillful was a Series A fintech startup focused on applying machine learning to meaningfully increase access to capital for deserving but credit invisible small businesses, especially those that were very new (1-2 years in business) and owned by historically underbanked groups such as women and people of color.

We provided a business credit score that took into account cash flow patterns, a secured business credit card, and personalized funding solutions based on customer credit score and cash flow data. We were acquired by Nav, a small business funding platform.

Brand and organic efforts reduced cost of acquisition by 80%.

In addition, $440K of funding deals closed in the 8 months we had funding could be attributed to organic sources. Brand was our #3 reason for Tillful Card acquisitions according to customer feedback. We acquired roughly 1K cardholders with $800K in deposits in about 1 year from organic channels.

Other highlights include that brand and content efforts doubled organic user acquisition share, and increased blog traffic by 320% in 2 years.
